08:00 h. Sightseeing tour of the most modern city in Europe, and visit to the Museum Island, Brandenburg Gate, Unter den Linden, the Reichstag, Potsdamerplatz and the Zoo. We leave the coach to visit the Holocaust Memorial and Berlin Wall Museum. Berlin bore witness to many significant events of the 20th century. Free afternoon to explore the city. We recommend a visit to Kurfurstenstrasse, the city’s main shopping Street, and Kantstrasse, where there are many international restaurants. Optionally you will have the opportunity to visit Potsdam with the Sanssouci gardens and palace and Cecilienhof palace.Note: in some cases the city tour might be carried out the day before.

Distance covered: 540 km. Countryside: Forests, hills, small villages on the way. 07:30hrs - Berlin –Departure-. 10.00 hrs - Dresden –Arrival-. This city is the pearl of the river Elbe, the former residence of the kings of Saxony. The immense palace by the river Elbe reminds us of the city’s glorious historic past. Time to stroll. 12.00hrs - Dresden –Departure-. We continue towards the south of Germany. Stop in a service area for lunch. - 16:15hrs - Bamberg –Arrival-. A beautiful city full of life, don’t miss a stroll in “the Little Venice”. Its picturesque canals and its monumental heritage make this city one of the most beautiful in Germany. Time to stroll. 17:30 hrs - Bamberg –Departure- 18:30 hrs - Nuremberg -Arrival. The second most important city in Bavaria with its castle, its walls, its ancient university and its reminders of the Second World War and the Nazi period. This city was completely destroyed in the Second World War but has risen from its ashes. Time to stroll in its busy center. Accommodation.

Today’s stage will bring us great surprises. 09:45hrs - Kelheim – Arrival in this city on the banks of the Danube. We take a ferry (scheduled time 9:50 hrs.) to have a forty minute cruise through the Danube Valley, in the area known as the “Danube gorges”. We come to KLOSTER WELTENBURG, a very beautiful Benedictine monastery founded in 1040. Time to visit. 12:00hrs- Kloster Weltenburg –Departure-. We continue along tiny roads.13:30hrs - Dachau –Arrival-. Concentration camp and museum. In this impressive place we will remember the difficult times of Nazism. Time to see the complex. We continue to Munich, where we will visit the impressive BMW WELT (BMW world) complex, a very modern facility with multifunctional exhibitions of the BMW group, the prestigious German car manufacturers. We will also see the park, where the architecturally beautiful Olympiastadium stands, and where the famous Olympic Games of 1972 were held. After this free time in the historic center to enjoy the typical beer houses. Note: In winter time or if the flow of the Danube River is too low, the cruise does not operate. In such a case this part of the journey will be carried out by road.Note: At the time of the Beer Festival, the hotel might be located in the vicinity of Munich.

Distance covered: 575 km Countryside: Very beautiful scenery: Mountains, lakes, picturesque villages. 07:30hrs - Munich –Departure-. 09:30hrs - Fussen –Arrival-. In this city of Bavaria, nestled in the mountains, we come to the castle of Neuschwanstein. With our guide, we will walk to Queen Mary’s Bridge to enjoy the fantastic scenery between the gorges. You can walk back to the bus or take a horse and carriage (not included). 11:30hrs - Fussen. Departure-. We travel to the Rhine Valley. Stop in the service area on the motorway for lunch. 15:15 hrs - Rothenburg –Arrival-. For many, this is the prettiest village in Germany. It is located on the Romantic Route. Its walls, its marvellous, perfectly preserved mediaeval quarter. We include tickets to the Christmas Museum. Time for a walk. 16:45hrs- Rothenburg –Departure-. 19:15 hrs - Frankfurt –Arrival-. Before settling in our hotel, our guide will leave you for a while next to the Romer Platz, in the city center. Free time.

Total distance covered: 369 km.Landscape: Very pretty scenery following the Rhine and Moselle valleys. Very beautiful villages are scattered along the way. 08.00 hrs - Frankfurt -departure. Today we will see the Rhine and the Moselle valleys. Two rivers charged with history and sprinkled with charming villages. 09.00 hrs - Rudesheim am Rhein. - We reach the Rhine at this picturesque mediaeval village full of tourist and commercial life. After some time to stroll, we board a boat to take a CRUISE ALONG THE RHINE of around two hours. We find ourselves in the prettiest sector of the river: fortresses, mediaeval villages, ancient churches, vineyards on the hillsides. Arrival in ST. GOAR and continuation along small roads travelling towards the Moselle Valley. 12:15hrs - Cochem - Arrival- We are now in one of the prettiest villages of the valley. Time for lunch and to take a walk. 15:00 hrs.- Cochem –Departure- 16.45 hrs. - Cologne -Arrival. Time to visit its impressive Gothic cathedral, which with its 154 metres of height was the tallest building in the world until the end of the 19th century. You can also have a walk along the Rhine River and through the lively city center. 19:00 hrs - Cologne. Departure for our hotel. 20:15 hrs - Dortmund. Arrival and accommodation.Note: On dates with trade fairs or congresses, accommodation may be given in a nearby city.

We will have a stage full of magic, reminding us about the stories of the BrothersGrimm, along the itinerary of the Fairytales Route. 08.00 hrs. - Dortmund, departure. 10.15 hrs.- Trendelburg - arrival at this picturesque walled village, dominated by its large medieval castle. We visit the castle with its Rapuntzel Tower (entrance included) and the princess´s long blonde braid hanging from the window. 11.15 hrs. - Tendelburg - departure. We continue along small roads, crossing forests, while we imagine Hansel and Gretel. 12.00 hrs - Hoxter. Arrival and time for lunch in this small town full of life, where Corvey Abbey is located, an ancient monastery from the 9th century, a World Heritage Site (a stop to photograph its walls and interior patios). 14:30 hrs. – Hoxter - departure. We continue our route making a brief stop in POLLE to photograph the exterior ruins of Cinderella’s Castle. 15:45 hrs. – Hamelin. We are in the city famous for the story of The Pied Piper of Hamelin. We will enjoy remembering the Grimm Brothers´ story and following the mouse´s footprints. Time to have a walk. 17.30 hrs. - Hamelin - departure. 18:30 hrs. - Hannover - Arrival. A walk through the center before heading to our hotel. Note: On some dates the accommodation might be given in Cologne or another city nearby. In that case the departure from Cologne on Thursday will be at 07:30 hrs.

A town declared UNESCO World Heritage, one of the prettiest towns in Germany with its historic houses and its Market Square. Time for a walk.11.15 hrs. - Goslar -departure-. We continue our route through one of the most beautiful areas of Germany. 12.00 hrs. - Quedlinburg- arrival. UNESCO declared this city a World Heritage Site due to its fascinating historic center, which has survived almost unscathed for centuries with its more than 2100 half-timbered houses. Also noteworthy are the town hall and the castle. Free time for a walk and lunch. 14.15 hrs. - Quedlinburg departure. We travel to the capital of Germany. 17.00 hrs. - Berlin -Arrival.

After breakfast, end of our services. Note: Remember that hotels check-out time is usually at 10.00 hrs. In most cases, you can leave your luggage at the hotel reception at check-out time, so you can enjoy the city and pick it up at the time you require that same day.
