You have to Present Self on VFS Global, Thamel Kathmandu. If you are resident in Nepal you are required to provide biometrics at your VFS appointment.

Visa Validity.
The Schengen Country Tourist visa is valid for 30 days from the day it was issued or Depends upon approval. People traveling for tourism purposes with the Schengen country Tourist eVisa are granted a stay Entry and Exit days up to 10 or 15 or ……. days depends upon Visa Approval.
Visa Fee Payment Method
Visa Fee: NPR 11,600 (80 Euro)
Visa Fee in Demand Draft, Demand Draft should be drawn in favor of “ Embassy of the Republic of Greece” and be payable at New Delhi (in INR only) and VFS Logistics – Cash or Demand Draft in favor of V F Services (Mauritius) Pet. Ltd. There is a bank counter available at VFS office to assist applicants prepare their visa fees demand draft with an additional NPR 1250/-
In addition to the visa fee, following charges are applicable:
- VFS Logistics – NPR 2667/-
- Two-way courier – NPR 2667/-
Total Visa Fee and VFS approx: NPR 18,184
Visa Fee and VFS service charge Can be paid at the VFS center on Cash or QR.
In which countries is my Schengen visa valid?
After Getting Italy Visa you are valid for all the 27 States in the Schengen area i.e. the following countries : Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Slovakia, Sweden, and Switzerland.
Processing Time
The Italy Embassy take at least 20 to 30 calendar days to process your application for an short stay Tourist visa.
Documents Required
1) Valid Passport:
(Passport should contain at least one blank page and should be valid for 6 months. Please provide the copies of visa in the old passports)

3) Photographs
(Two recent Photographs of size 35mm x 45mm (White Or Grey Background). Photograph should be taken without glasses, headgears and uniform )
4) Documentation providing the occupational status:

5) National ID:
Proof of family relations e.g. Birth certificate, Marriage certificate or Local Certificate of Relationship – Copy of Nepalese citizenship certificate (ID card/Rastriya Parichaya Patra)
6) Itinerary for the whole trip
7) Reservation of return flight tickets/Internal Bus/Train Ticket:
Airline reservation and proof of other means of travel within Austria/EU in case of onward travel
8) Reservation of accommodation:
Hotel reservation / letter of tour organizer and / or other appropriate documentation indicating the envisaged travel plans within Austria / EU.
9) Personal Bank Statement :
Original bank statements of the last three (3) months with minimum Ending balance of above 500,000.
10) Travel medical insurance:
Travel medical insurance shall be valid throughout the territory of the Member States and cover the entire period of the person’s intended stay or transit. The minimum coverage shall be EUR 30 000.
Do I need property valuation for a Tourist visa?
No, you don’t. But attaching a copy of the documents of your property along with your financial statement and the covering letter stating the approximate value of your propert-y/ies is a good move, especially if you are applying for the first time.
