Who can submit my visa application?

Once you have applied for your visa Online via IRCC portal , you have to Present Self on VFS Global, Thamel Kathmandu. If you are resident in Nepal you are required to provide biometrics at your VFS appointment.

Where to submit my Document & Visa application?

All document you have to submit Online via IRCC portal  and Once you have applied for your visa Online and have received a Biometric requirement letter from the Department of Home Affairs Australia.

Need to Book an Appointment ?

Once you have applied for your visa, you need to book an appointment to have your fingerprints and photo taken at a Visa Application Centre. This is known as ‘biometric information’.

Visa Validity.

Most visitors can stay for up to 6 months in Canada.

At the port of entry, the border services officer may allow you to stay for less or more than 6 months. If so, they’ll put the date you need to leave by in your passport. They might also give you a document, called a visitor record, which will show the date you need to leave by.

Visa Type

Single entry– the single-entry visa is granted for six months only. The visitor will have to return before the Visa expires. 2. Multiple entries- the multiple entry visa is granted for ten years or a month before the expiration date mentioned on the passport.

Visa Fee Payment Method:

After Online visa Application Via IRCC portal may choose to pay at the Visa Application Centre using Credit/Debit Card however cash and Draft is not Accepted. Original proof of payment must be received with the visa application. The passport number of the applicant must be clearly stated as reference on the proof of payment.

Processing Time

Most applications in a few weeks or less. Processing times depend on the visa office and if you need to do any extra steps (listed above). We’ll return your passport and other original documents to you after we process your application.

Documents Required

1) Valid Passport:

(Passport should contain at least one blank page and should be valid for 6 months. Please provide the copies of visa in the old passports)

3) Photographs

As mentioned, the Canada Visa photo size should be 35mm by 45mm or at least 500 pixels by 705 pixels (width by height). It must be of high quality

4) Documentation providing the occupational status:

5) National ID:

Proof of family relations e.g. Birth certificate, Marriage certificate or Local Certificate of Relationship – Copy of Nepalese citizenship certificate (ID card/Rastriya Parichaya Patra)

6) Itinerary for the whole trip
7) Reservation of return flight tickets/Internal Bus/Train Ticket:

Airline reservation and proof of other means of travel within Canada in case of onward travel

8) Reservation of accommodation:

Hotel reservation / letter of tour organizer and / or other appropriate documentation indicating the envisaged travel plans within Canada.

9) Personal  Bank Statement :

PDF  bank statements of the last Six (6) months with minimum Ending  balance of above 500,000.

10) Travel medical insurance:

No need Travel Insurance

Do I need property valuation for a Tourist visa?

No, you don’t. But attaching a copy of the documents of your property along with your financial statement and the covering letter stating the approximate value of your propert-y/ies is a good move, especially if you are applying for the first time.

 Do I Need Covering Letter?

Yes, The details like the length of the trip, the places to visit, and arrangements for your accommodation are very important details. Hence you need to ensure that you submit a covering letter which has all these details with your signature at the bottom. This letter should convince the embassy about your plans, purpose of your trip, and most importantly, your plans on returning to your home country once your trip is over.
